Azerbaijan’s Imports from Turkey Decline, Major Countries Impacted

Azerbaijan (Commerce Desk): At the beginning of the year, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $10.675 million from Turkey, including grains, pulses, oilseeds, and related products. This represents a 9.5% decrease compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Turkey’s total exports also fell to $929 million, reflecting a 9.3% annual decline. Among the largest importers from Turkey, Iraq purchased $109 million worth of products, marking a 34.3% decrease; the United States imported $62.386 million, showing a 10% increase; and Syria imported $54.481 million, reflecting a 2.8% decline.
