Classes Resume at Cadet College Wana After Three Months

Peshawar (Turkey News): With the efforts of the Pakistan Army, educational activities for youth in the tribal districts have resumed, and classes at Cadet College Wana have formally restarted after a three-month suspension. Locally, this development is being described as a significant step toward ensuring continuity in education.

According to official details, academic activities were disrupted following an incident in November 2025. However, through coordinated efforts between the Pakistan Army and the local community, the situation was brought under control. Repair and restoration work was completed within a limited timeframe, and the institution was made operational once again.

The Pakistan Army, in collaboration with Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South, carried out building repairs, restored essential facilities, and ensured security arrangements. Following these measures, the teaching and learning process has resumed for students.

Local elders and tribal leaders expressed satisfaction over the reopening of the college, calling it a positive development for the promotion of education in the region. They stated that providing quality education to youth is a guarantee of a brighter future for the area.

Education sector representatives noted that the restoration of the institution has not only safeguarded the students’ academic year but has also strengthened parents’ confidence, as they seek better educational opportunities for their children.
