Tehran (Monitoring Desk) Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed serious concern over alleged US provocations in the Strait of Hormuz, warning that such actions could pose serious risks to regional peace and stability. According to Iranian media, he made these remarks during a telephone conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, in which detailed discussions were held on the situation in the Gulf region and key maritime routes.
Abbas Araghchi stated that increasing US activities in sensitive waterways are further complicating the situation and could directly affect regional stability. On the other hand, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi praised the resilience of the Iranian people and said that China is ready to play a role in advancing diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and establish lasting peace in the region.
