Baku (Türkiye News) During his visit to Azerbaijan, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs visited the memorial of national leader Heydar Aliyev and laid a wreath at his grave.
According to AZERTAC, the Latvian President paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern Azerbaijan and architect of its independent statehood.
He also laid flowers at the grave of renowned ophthalmologist and academic Zarefa Aliyeva.
In addition, the President visited the graves of prominent politician Aziz Aliyev and well-known physician Teymurlan Aliyev, where he offered floral tributes.
