Washington (Monitoring Desk): US President Donald Trump has expressed opposition to Israeli annexation of the West Bank. According to international media, a White House official stated that, in Trump’s view, stability in the West Bank is essential for Israel’s security.
The official added that peace and stability in Palestinian territories align with the United States’ goal of regional peace, and Washington does not support measures that could escalate tensions.
Meanwhile, the British government has condemned the controversial decision by the Israeli cabinet to expand control over the West Bank.
