Azerbaijan and Romania Foreign Ministers Agree to Enhance Cooperation

Baku (Turkey Khabar) Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Romania’s Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Toiu held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral and multilateral relations. During the discussion, opportunities to further enhance cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, and communications were also considered, while the importance of ongoing strategic projects involving Azerbaijan was highlighted.

The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on regional and global issues and emphasized the need to strengthen mutual cooperation to ensure security and stability. On this occasion, the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan’s relations with the European Union were also reviewed, while both sides agreed on the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation in this direction.

Furthermore, the two leaders also exchanged views on other regional and bilateral matters of mutual interest.
