Tehran (Monitoring Desk) Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that the instability in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz is primarily rooted in the aggressive policies of the United States and Israel.
During a meeting with a special envoy from South Korea, the Iranian foreign minister presented Iran’s position regarding U.S. and Israeli actions and said that it is clear which party is responsible for escalating tensions in the region.
Abbas Araghchi called on the international community to openly condemn the aggressive actions of the United States and Israel in order to promote peace and stability in the region.
He added that Iran is taking measures under international law to protect its security and national interests, and that responsibility for the consequences of these actions lies with the powers creating instability in the region.
