US-Iran Agreement: Decision to Ease Restrictions on Oil Sales

New York (Monitoring Desk): According to a report emerging from New York, under a possible agreement to end a potential war between United States and Iran, it has been agreed to immediately allow Iran to sell oil and fuel.

A US newspaper, citing sources, reported that as soon as the agreement is signed, restrictions imposed on oil sales will be eased. This will also include essential services such as banking, transport, and insurance, which are necessary for oil trade.

According to the report, a non-profit organization has claimed that a large tanker carrying Iranian crude oil departed from a port, passed under US monitoring, and proceeded through the Gulf of Oman. This incident is being described as the first major development following recent sanctions.

According to a senior US official, although Iran will initially be given relief in oil sales, permanent relief will depend on Tehran’s compliance with certain US conditions, including progress on sensitive issues and a reduction in regional tensions.
