Washington (Monitoring Desk): According to developments in Washington, a new diplomatic dispute has emerged in an important peace-related matter, in which the United States has rejected Israel’s request for access to the details of the agreement with Iran.
According to media sources, Israel had formally requested details of the memorandum of understanding reached with Iran; however, the United States refused to provide the information, citing it as a sensitive matter related to national security.
According to media sources, Israeli officials have described the US decision as unusual and surprising.
It should be noted that the details of the 14-point memorandum draft between Iran and the United States have already been made public. According to this draft, it includes easing maritime restrictions, suspension of sanctions on oil and petrochemical exports, and proposals for a ceasefire in certain areas.
Further details indicate that the agreement also includes points such as partial restoration of frozen assets and financial assistance for reconstruction, while the proposal also includes approving the final agreement through a United Nations resolution.
