Istanbul (Turkiye News): Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that the Antalya Diplomacy Forum has emerged as an important global diplomatic platform, where world leaders gathered to discuss global crises, regional stability, and efforts for peace in Gaza.
Speaking at the closing press conference of the three-day forum held in Antalya in southern Türkiye, he said that the event was attended by 23 heads of state and government, 13 deputy leaders, and 50 foreign ministers, along with representatives from 150 countries and 66 international organizations.
According to the foreign minister, more than 6,400 participants took part in 52 different sessions, where detailed discussions were held on crises across various regions including Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, and Central Asia.
Hakan Fidan said that over the three days, Antalya had become a global center of diplomacy, hosting key meetings and negotiations between different countries.
He further revealed that a quadrilateral meeting was also held between Türkiye, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, where issues related to regional stability, cooperation, and maritime security were discussed.
According to him, the aim of the meeting was to move regional issues toward practical and realistic diplomatic solutions, promoting stability through collective cooperation.
