Islamabad (Turkiye News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held telephonic conversations with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Canada, during which the overall regional situation and Iran–US negotiations were discussed.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the conversation between Ishaq Dar and Egypt’s Foreign Minister, the ongoing diplomatic developments in the region were reviewed, and good wishes were expressed for the success of the Iran–US negotiation process.
Similarly, Ishaq Dar also held a telephone call with Canada’s Foreign Minister Anita Anand, where matters of mutual interest and the regional situation were discussed in detail.
During the call, the Canadian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and expressed support for its facilitation role in the Iran–US negotiations.
Sources say these contacts aim to promote diplomatic coordination in light of rising regional tensions and to move the negotiation process forward in a positive direction.
