Islamabad (Turkiye Khabar): The understanding reached between Iran and the United States is being regarded as an important development towards peace and stability in the region. Pakistan and China have expressed satisfaction over this progress and welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding agreed upon between the two countries. In this regard, a telephone conversation also took place between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Wang Yi.
During the conversation, the Chinese Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and its role in the peaceful resolution of disputes, paying tribute to its contributions toward the promotion of global peace.
Ishaq Dar thanked China for its support of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts regarding the Iran-US matter and highlighted the importance of the Pakistan-China Five-Point Initiative.
Both leaders emphasized that continuous communication and cooperation are essential for the effective implementation of the understanding. On this occasion, they also stressed the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and secure for global trade and energy transportation.
