Major Diplomatic Development in Antalya, Syrian President Meets US Envoy

Istanbul (Turkey News) Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa held an important meeting with US Special Envoy Tom Barrack in Antalya, which is being described as a significant diplomatic development. According to a statement issued by the Syrian presidency, the meeting took place at the President’s residence, where detailed discussions were held on bilateral relations and regional matters. Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani and Head of General Intelligence Hussain Al-Salama were also present during the meeting. US envoy Tom Barrack, in a statement shared on social media, said that great leaders recognize each other even in difficult circumstances, adding that former US President Donald Trump’s confidence has proven to be correct. It is worth noting that the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum is set to begin on Friday, with heads of state, foreign ministers, and representatives of international organizations from around the world expected to attend. The forum is being held under the patronage of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and will continue until Sunday, focusing on addressing global uncertainties.
