Islamabad (Türkiye News) President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has formally approved four important amendment bills passed by Parliament.
According to the Presidency, the purpose of these laws is to enhance the effectiveness of the relevant sectors and align them with modern requirements.
The approved legislation includes the Carriage by Air (Amendment) Bill 2026 and the Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill 2026.
In addition, the Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill 2026 and the Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill 2026 have also received presidential assent.
The Presidency stated that these amendments are expected to improve the performance of the respective institutions and sectors while making administrative affairs more efficient and effective.
